Product Description
TEEXMA for Additive Manufacturing is a modular technical knowledge management platform that addresses the AM-specific data management gap between isolated point solutions. Rather than treating AM as a collection of disconnected tools—one for powder tracking, another for build scheduling, a third for quality—TEEXMA unifies the entire production lifecycle under a single no-code configurable data model, providing digital continuity from material qualification through serial part production with full traceability.
How does TEEXMA manage powder and material lifecycle?
The Materials and Powder Management module tracks every gram of metal and polymer powder across its full lifecycle: virgin, recycled, and used states with lot-level traceability. Powder stock levels, usage history, and blending ratios are monitored in real time. The system flags material approaching its re-use limit or obsolescence date, preventing unscheduled production stops due to material shortage and reducing waste from expired powder that could have been processed earlier. Material characterization data from qualification campaigns is linked to each powder lot for downstream quality correlation.
How does build management and digital twin simulation work?
The Build Management module provides real-time dashboards showing machine status, active build jobs, and process parameters across the entire AM fleet. Operators schedule builds on available machines with dynamic production planning that adapts to machine downtime or priority changes. The Digital Twin Simulation module lets engineers create and version simulation cards to predict part performance based on selected materials and process parameters before committing to a physical build—reducing the trial-and-error iterations that inflate AM part development cost and lead time.
How does TEEXMA ensure quality and traceability in serial AM production?
Every part receives a digital ID card that aggregates its complete production history: powder lot, machine serial number, build parameters, sensor data from the build process, post-processing steps, and inspection results. Non-conformities trigger structured investigation workflows that link to the specific build, machine, and material lot, enabling root-cause analysis across the production history. Standard operating procedures and equipment calibration schedules are managed within the same system, ensuring that quality documentation is always current and auditable. The platform interfaces with MES and ERP systems to feed production and quality data into enterprise-wide reporting.
