Product Description

The PPC5C uses two MAC 34 Series balanced poppet valves — one fill, one exhaust — under closed-loop electronic control to convert an electrical command signal into a precise pneumatic output. One or two internal pressure transducers continuously measure downstream pressure against the setpoint, opening the fill or exhaust valve as needed. Because the poppets are balanced, the valve responds identically regardless of mounting orientation or vibration — no "droop," no overshoot, no undershoot.

What pressure ranges and accuracy grades are available?

Output pressure ranges span 2, 4, 10, 15, 30, 50, 60, 80, 100, and 150 PSI, with vacuum options also available. Accuracy grades include ±0.5%, ±1.0%, ±1.5%, and ±2.5% of full scale. Pressure reference can be gauge or differential. The standard flow capacity is Cv 0.07 (~70 Nl/min), with a high-flow Cv 0.09 option (~90 Nl/min). Port sizes include 1/8" NPTF (side or bottom), BSPP, and BSPT.

What command signal and monitoring options are supported?

The PPC5C accepts 0–10 VDC or 4–20 mA command signals. An Analog Monitor Signal (AMS, 0–10 VDC) outputs the actual downstream pressure in real time, while a Logic Monitor Signal (LMS, TTL or up to 24V) toggles when the target pressure is reached. Feedback configurations include single internal transducer, single external transducer (for remote sensing at the point of use), or dual internal transducers for redundancy. Electrical connections use 3-, 5-, or 6-pin Mini/Micro connectors or flying leads. LED indicators show power (red) and pressure-achieved status (green).
