The Movetec MCB-LC series is a compact control box for indoor electric actuator applications — height-adjustable desks, ergonomic workstations, medical treatment tables, and industrial lifting stations. It drives one or two MAC-series lifting columns or MLA-series linear actuators, accepting Hall-effect sensor or potentiometer feedback for synchronized, even movement across multiple legs or mounting points.

How does the control box protect the user and the equipment?

Soft-start and soft-stop ramps eliminate sudden jolts. An anti-collision function monitors motor current during movement — if the actuator encounters an obstacle, the controller reverses direction to prevent crushing or damage. The 2-minute-on / 18-minute-off duty cycle protects the motors from overheating in continuous-use scenarios, while standby power consumption stays below 0.3 W when idle.

How does the MCB-LC series fit into a Movetec system?

Movetec sells pre-configured plug-and-play sets: MCB-LC control box + MCP control panel (push-button or OLED with memory positions) + MLA actuator or MAC lifting column + mating cables. The control box uses Molex connectors for the actuator channels and RJ-type jacks for the control panel — no soldering, no terminal blocks.
