What does the COMPU-COAT system control?

The COMPU-COAT manages all critical tablet coating parameters: inlet air temperature (up to 85°C), process airflow (2,500–10,000 CFM), pan speed (3–30 RPM via VFD), spray gun sequencing with flow totalization, and exhaust balancing. HEPA-filtered air handling ensures product quality, while optional WIP (Wash-In-Place) automates cleaning between batches.

How do the control tiers compare?

COMPU-COAT PRO provides manual PLC/HMI operation for basic coating. PRO+ and iPRO+ add recipe management with up to 99 recipes, 20 configurable stages each, SQL batch reporting, and five password-protected user groups. ELITE and iELITE deliver full 21 CFR Part 11 compliant e-records and e-signatures, hundreds of recipes, and integration with material handling and solution preparation for fully automated production lines.

Which coating processes are supported?

The platform handles aqueous film coating (all models), solvent coating (6N/8/ELITE tiers), sugar coating, enteric coating, and drug layering. Multi-language HMI and IQ/OQ documentation packages support global pharmaceutical manufacturing sites.
