The GÖTTING HG G-81830 is a handheld mobile unit for reading and programming RFID transponder codes used in automated guided vehicle (AGV) navigation and positioning systems. It supports multiple frequency variants to match different transponder infrastructure — from 125 kHz low-frequency to 13.5 MHz high-frequency RFID.

How are transponder codes programmed?
Codes can be entered in either hexadecimal or decimal format via the handheld interface. Operation is consistent across all variants — only the code word length differs. The unit reads existing transponder codes for verification and writes new programmable codes to configure AGV navigation routes, station IDs, and positioning markers along the guide path.
What are the power and environmental specifications?
The unit operates on 12–14 V DC with an internal NiMH accumulator providing mobile runtime. A full charge takes approximately 12 hours via the included 100–240 V AC charger. Rated IP20 for indoor industrial use, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C and 95% relative humidity (non-condensing) at 25 °C. A low-battery warning is included on VA, YA, and TA variants.
