What is the key advantage of active pressure control?

Unlike conventional pressure regulators that can only reduce inlet pressure, the FLEXI HP 1000's motorized syringe pump actively pressurizes the system to a user-defined setpoint up to 1000 bar, regardless of the inlet gas supply pressure. This enables experiments at pressures higher than the available gas source.
