The L series is Gehring's modular boring honing machine for small bores, honing diameters from 0.6 to 90 mm in single-spindle or multi-spindle transfer layouts. The Gehring honing control drives stroke speed and reversal precision, and the GOP operator panel walks the setter through programming.

Why a modular line for small bores?

A large-bore hone scaled down carries mass and stroke the small part never uses, and still fights the length-to-diameter ratio that makes small bores hard. The L series builds from market-proven modules — honing, brushing, gauging, deburring — so the machine is sized to the bore, not the other way round.
