An image inside crystal is made of nothing but micro-fractures, and the ST-HSGP-4KD places them fast: 220,000 dots per minute at 532 nm, with 800 to 1200 DPI resolution inside a 100 x 200 x 80 mm volume. A crystal paperweight or 3D portrait finishes in minutes, which is the difference between a kiosk that sells while the customer waits and one that asks them to return tomorrow.

What is inside the optical chain?

The diode-pumped laser source is imported from Germany and rated beyond 25,000 hours; the acousto-optic Q-switch comes from the UK, the galvanometer from Scanlab in Germany and the F-theta lens from Singapore. Pulse energy reaches 1.2 mJ at 7 ns with beam quality M2 below 1.5, focusing to a 0.02 mm spot 100 mm from the lens. Air cooling handles the 3 W average power, and the 200 kg cabinet runs 24-hour shifts on a 220 V wall socket.

2D or 3D - and which software?

Both: the self-developed Windows application converts 2D photos to 3D dot clouds and drives the scanner head with X, Y and Z coordination. CE, FCC and FDA approvals cover export markets. Compared with 2D-only inner engravers it produces true 3D portraits; compared with the larger ST-HSGP-4KB, it trades a 300 x 400 mm bed for the compact footprint and 4 kHz speed that batch gift production actually needs.
