Product Description
The LC9010-A0 is Ocean's King Lighting's IoT-enabled loop controller for three-phase public and industrial lighting circuits. It combines wireless communication, three-phase electrical metering, and remote circuit switching in a single compact unit. The magnetic latching contactor maintains its state without continuous coil power, keeping total consumption to 1–2 W — critical for energy-saving lighting applications where the controller itself must not become a parasitic load.
What metering and control functions does it provide?
The controller acquires full three-phase metering data — voltage, current, frequency, power factor, and active/reactive/apparent power — on the four-wire AC load. It can switch lighting circuits on/off automatically based on schedules or remotely via the 802.15.4G wireless network (430–450 MHz, 500 m range line-of-sight). Three-phase power failure detection triggers automatic alarms. Abnormal voltage, current, and power fluctuations are monitored against configurable limit thresholds, enabling preventive maintenance before luminaire failures cascade across a circuit.
What is the 802.15.4G wireless communication standard?
802.15.4G is an IEEE standard for low-data-rate wireless smart utility networks (SUN), operating in sub-GHz bands for longer range and better obstacle penetration than 2.4 GHz ZigBee. In the LC9010-A0, this enables a single concentrator to manage dozens of loop controllers across a large outdoor lighting installation — street lighting along highways, port terminals, or factory yards — without running dedicated communication cabling. The protocol supports mesh and star topologies, and the 430–450 MHz band provides good propagation in urban and industrial environments with building obstruction.
