Product Description

A machine that needs to stroke a cylinder in and out electrically usually reaches for a CETOP subplate valve - and then finds it owns half the panel. Meric built the MSV2-08 family to reclaim that space: the 4/2-way solenoid spool lives in a compact cartridge envelope instead.

Why does a cartridge envelope beat a subplate valve on a tight frame?

Because the cartridge drops into a machined cavity and lets the manifold carry the flow paths, so there is no subplate, no extra porting block and no valve body footprint on the panel. The MSV2-08-4CO keeps the full directional function - 4 ports, 2 positions, solenoid operated - at 207 bar in an aluminum body, which suits mobile and stationary circuits where weight and envelope matter. It runs on standard mineral-based hydraulic fluids across -30 to +120 degrees C, and joins a complete Meric spool family from 2/2 to 4/2 configurations, so a designer picks the exact valve from one cavity standard instead of mixing vendors.
