The IBH Softec 2002 Flash-Prommer is an external desktop programmer for Siemens Flash PROMM memory cards used in S5, S7-300, and S7-400 PLC systems. It connects to a PC via the parallel printer port (LPT) and is operated through the S5/S7 for Windows programming software.

What operations does it perform?

All standard EPROM operations: erase, read, write (transfer), compare, blank check (erase check), and display of memory card contents.

What PLC families are supported?

Siemens S5, S7-300, and S7-400 series. Note that this is a legacy LPT-port device — the newer USB S5/S7 Prommer from IBH Softec replaces it for modern PCs without parallel ports and adds support for S7 Micro Memory Cards.

What is required to use it?

A PC with a parallel (LPT) port or a compatible parallel port adapter, plus the S5/S7 for Windows software from IBH Softec. The Flash-Prommer is handled identically to the IBH Softec Eprommer in the software environment.
