The Fluke 50 Series II thermometers feature fast response time with laboratory accuracy in a rugged hand-held tool. These contact thermometers are designed to withstand a one-meter drop and are splash and dust resistant, making them ideal for demanding industrial environments. The user-friendly front panel is easy to set up and operate .

The 50 Series II measures J, K, T, and E thermocouple types, with models 53 and 54 also accepting R, S, and N types for a total of seven different types. Readout is displayed in °C, °F, or Kelvin (K). The relative time clock on MIN, MAX, and AVG functions provides a time reference for major events, while the electronic offset function allows compensation of thermocouple errors to maximize overall accuracy.

The Fluke 53 and 54 models feature data logging capability, storing up to 500 points of data to internal memory with user-adjustable recording intervals. The recall function allows logged data to be easily reviewed on the meter display. The IR communication port allows data to be exported to optional FlukeView Temperature PC software for further analysis and graphing.

Single input (51, 53) and dual input (52, 54) models are available, with dual input models providing differential temperature measurement capability. The thermometers have a sleep-mode to increase battery life, and battery replacement can be done conveniently without breaking the calibration seal. Each unit ships complete with bead probe thermocouple(s) and impact-absorbing holster.
