The Bently Nevada SCOUT200-IS is a portable, intrinsically safe (IS) data collector and condition monitor designed specifically for use in hazardous environments where hot work permits are required . It is rated for ATEX Zone 1 / Zone 21 (for non-conductive dust) and CSA Class 1 Zone 1, allowing maintenance teams to safely collect vibration data on operating machinery in classified areas . This rental unit is provided as a complete, ready-to-use system with all necessary accessories for field deployment .
The system consists of two main components: the rugged data acquisition module and a separate industrial handheld device. The data acquisition module features two sensor input channels compatible with accelerometers, velocity sensors, and displacement probes. It offers an AC-coupled range of 16 V peak-peak and DC-coupled options, with a wide frequency response from 25 Hz to 40 kHz and high accuracy of ±(0.1% + 1 cpm) .
The module and handheld communicate via Bluetooth, eliminating cable hazards on-site.
