Four square millimeter wire carries serious current – motor feeds, power supply inputs, main distribution circuits. Stranded wire of this gauge, when forced into a screw terminal without a ferrule, splays apart under pressure. The QUADRIOS 22C430 solves this with a gray ferrule that bundles all strands into a solid, round pin.

The gray color is the industry standard for 4.0mm². The 9mm pin length is slightly longer than smaller gauges to accommodate the larger wire diameter and ensure full insertion into heavy-duty terminal blocks. The copper barrel is tin-plated to prevent oxidation, and the polyamide insulation protects against creepage. Use these when wiring variable frequency drives, power supplies, or any circuit where loose strands could cause overheating or arcing.
