The QUADRIOS 23C495 solves this with a 3:1 heat shrink tube that contains hot-melt adhesive. After crimping, apply heat. The tube shrinks down to a third of its original diameter, gripping the wire tightly. The adhesive melts and flows into every gap, sealing the connection completely.

The 3:1 shrink ratio is what sets this kit apart. Standard heat shrink connectors offer only 2:1, which works but leaves more room for failure on uneven wire gauges. With 3:1, the tube conforms tightly even when the insulation thickness varies between two wires.
