Product Description

The Pyxis ST-772 Series Luminescent Dissolved Oxygen Sensors are based on the principle of fluorescence quenching to determine dissolved oxygen content in water. They incorporate Pyxis' advanced technology in fluorescence detection, using Blue/Red light detection with excitation and reference light sources to offer a wide detection range and very low detection limit.

The sensor integrates temperature and pressure sensors, enabling temperature and pressure compensation for DO measurement based on ambient environmental conditions. This ensures accurate readings across varying application conditions.

The ST-772 features a replaceable, front-loading DO membrane cap independently developed by Pyxis Lab with a typical service life of up to two years. The unique design incorporates a black microporous PTFE membrane material that provides extreme scratch resistance and extended life. The flat front-end design makes the platform less prone to contamination or fouling.

The sensor body is available in 304 stainless steel (ST-772T) for aggressive industrial applications or CPVC (ST-772T-P) for chemical compatibility. Both models offer 4-20mA and RS-485 Modbus outputs and are Bluetooth enabled when used with the MA-CR Bluetooth adapter. Installation options include submerged or bypass/inline configurations.
