The AquaMetrix Luminescent Dissolved Oxygen Sensor utilizes fluorescence quenching technology for precise optical DO measurement. This innovative sensor outputs two digital-based analog (4-20mA) signals that can be set as any two of three options: percent saturation, concentration, or temperature. It can connect to the AquaMetrix AM-2300 controller, AM-2252 controller, or directly to a PLC.

The sensor reads accurately within 90 seconds of transitioning from dry to wet conditions. Reliability is backed by factory-programmed 90-point calibration stored directly on a memory chip embedded in the membrane cap. Membrane caps come pre-calibrated, so maintenance simply involves pressing on the new cap. When needed, intermittent calibration is simple and can be performed on a controller or directly on the probe.

Key features include no electrolyte requirement, no sample flow needed, Visual Lifecycle Indication (VLI) for maintenance prediction, replaceable membrane, and saltwater compensation capability. The sensor is designed for long-term reliability in demanding water quality monitoring applications.
