The AquaMetrix 60/65 Series differential pH/ORP sensors incorporate differential measurement technology field‑proven in thousands of installations. This technique uses two glass electrodes to make the measurement differentially with respect to a third metal electrode. The domed glass process electrode is specially designed for tough applications; the second electrode is immersed in pH 7 buffer encapsulated in the probe.

Double junction replaceable salt bridge protects the second electrode from process contamination. True differential measurement eliminates ground loop problems. If internal solution becomes contaminated, probe can be rejuvenated by replacing salt bridge and reference solution. Automatic temperature compensation via thermistor at probe tip for rapid response.

Encapsulated preamplifier provides output signal transmittable 3000 feet over inexpensive cable. Alternative version encapsulates 4‑20 mA two‑wire transmitter.
