Product Description
The APG MPX-E Chemical level transmitter is part of the MPX family of magnetostrictive liquid level probes that take both the interface level measurement and the total volume. The MPX-E Chemical model has a chemical-resistant coating for use in corrosive, acidic, and marine environments. It can withstand sulfuric acid, boric acid, hydrochloric acid, and sodium hydroxide.
This liquid level sensor is designed for high turbidity environments, and is certified for installation in hazardous areas in the US and Canada by CSA for Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 and Class I, Zones 1 and 2 environments. The RS-485 Modbus RTU output makes the MPX compatible with any Modbus controller or PLC. It also simplifies wiring dramatically.
