Product Description
The RECKALL CROSSBOX is an embedded collision avoidance and safety platform designed for heavy vehicles operating in mixed-traffic industrial environments — mining sites, quarries, warehouses, waste collection centers, and port operations. It combines vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) detection with lone worker alerting in a single integrated system.
How does the collision avoidance system work?
CROSSBOX units installed on heavy vehicles continuously monitor for pedestrians equipped with T1 TAG units and for other vehicles. When a risk of collision is detected, the system alerts the operator. Detection covers four categories: pedestrians (V2P), light and heavy vehicles (V2V), fixed structures, and underground or overhead networks. The system operates independently of the vehicle's existing electronics, enabling retrofit installation on mixed fleets.
What lone worker protection features are included?
The T1 TAG worn by lone workers includes man-down detection, falls-from-height and slip detection, and geolocation. If a worker becomes unresponsive or triggers an alert, the system notifies supervisors via the web platform. The TAG also supports automatic traffic light control and access control to restricted zones such as electrical rooms.
What additional fleet management functions does CROSSBOX provide?
Beyond safety, CROSSBOX monitors maintenance intervals, detects operator fatigue, prevents overspeed operation, and tracks real-time production metrics and fuel consumption. All data is accessible through a web-based reporting platform, giving fleet managers visibility across safety, maintenance, and productivity from a single interface.
