Most 4.8mm Faston connector sets are designed for 0.5-1.0 mm² wire. The QUADRIOS 1908C185 is specifically for thicker 1.5-2.5 mm² cable (AWG 16-13), which carries higher current without overheating. This makes it suitable for power supply outputs, motor leads, and industrial control circuits.

The set includes 25 male plugs, 25 female receptacles, and 50 transparent insulating sleeves. Terminals are brass with tin plating, and the sleeves provide protection while allowing visual inspection of the crimp. The tab size remains 4.8x0.5mm – the standard for this series – but the barrel is enlarged to accept thicker wire.

Use these when repairing appliances with 1.5mm² internal wiring, building battery backup systems, or servicing HVAC equipment. For even heavier wire (2.5-4.0 mm²), consider 6.3mm Faston terminals.
