The Siemens 5UB1307 is the plug-in terminal version of the DELTA i-system NEMA 5-15R outlet. Where the 5UB1303 uses screw terminals, this one uses push-in spring clamps — strip the conductor, push it in, and move to the next outlet.

When does plug-in beat screw?

On any project where installers are wiring dozens of outlets in a day, plug-in terminals cut per-outlet wiring time by more than half. No torque screwdriver, no checking tightness — the spring clamp grips the conductor automatically. The trade-off is that plug-in connections are harder to re-terminate in the field without the release tool, so they suit new builds and renovations where wires go in once and stay put.
