Two practical reasons to choose this over the screwless 5UB1101 variants: conductor cross-section — the screw clamp accepts up to 4 mm² finely stranded wire, where the screwless 5UB1101-5KK is limited to 2.5 mm² — and clamping confidence in high-vibration environments such as industrial control cabinets or machinery panels. The trade-off is installation speed: screw terminals take a few seconds longer per conductor.

All DELTA miro and DELTA i-system frames with the standard 55x55 mm center plate cutout accept this insert. The socket body itself measures 70x70x45 mm and fits a standard 45 mm deep flush-mount box.
