The Advantech IPC-220 is a compact, modular industrial computer chassis designed specifically for the PCE-2000 series CPU boards. It offers a perfect balance between size and expandability, making it ideal for space-constrained industrial environments such as machine control cabinets, manufacturing floors, and edge computing deployments.
Flexible Motherboard and Processor Support
The IPC-220 chassis is compatible with Advantech PCE-2000 series CPU boards, supporting a wide range of Intel Core i processors. It accommodates 6th/7th Gen Core i CPUs (LGA1151) as well as 10th Gen Core i CPUs (LGA1200), with chipset options including Intel Q170, H110, and Q470E. The system supports up to 64 GB DDR4 2666 MHz memory via two 260-pin SO-DIMM slots, delivering sufficient performance for industrial automation, machine vision, and data acquisition tasks.
High Expandability in Compact Form Factor
Despite its compact dimensions of 155 x 230 x 150 mm, the IPC-220 provides excellent expansion capabilities. It features one PCIe x16 slot and one PCIe x4 slot, allowing integration of various add-on cards such as motion control cards, vision frame grabbers, I/O cards, and even GPU cards for AI acceleration at the edge. The chassis also supports Advantech iDoor technology for additional I/O and communication expansion options.
Storage and I/O Features
For storage, the IPC-220 includes two shockproof 2.5" HDD/SSD drive bays (max height 15mm) and one mSATA slot, ensuring reliable data storage even in vibration-prone environments. The front I/O panel provides convenient access to 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 6 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, HDMI and VGA display outputs, 2 x RS-232/422/485 serial ports, and audio jacks (Mic-in and Line-out).
