The CTM-M2 is a compact multifunction timer module from Lettel that packs 10 programmable timing functions into a single 18 mm-wide DIN rail housing — the same width as a standard circuit breaker. All configuration is performed via front-panel rotary levers and switches: no software, no display, no external programmer required. The universal power supply accepts any voltage from 12 V to 240 V, AC or DC, eliminating the need to stock separate timer models for different control voltages.

What timing functions does the CTM-M2 support?

The 10 selectable functions cover the most common industrial timing requirements. On Delay energizes the relay after a set time once power is applied — the standard function for staggered motor starting and inrush current management. Off Delay holds the relay closed for a programmed period after the trigger signal is removed, useful for cooling fan run-on and delayed shutdown sequences. Symmetrical Flasher cycles the relay ON and OFF with equal times for visual/audible signaling. Additional functions include interval timing, pulse-on-trigger, asymmetrical cycling, and delayed contact modes — selectable via the function dial on the front face.

How are external devices integrated with the timer?

Dedicated control terminals accept external dry contacts or switches for Start, Stop, and Pause commands. This enables the CTM-M2 to operate as part of a larger control sequence — for example, a limit switch can start the timing cycle when a conveyor gate closes, a safety interlock can pause timing during maintenance access, and an emergency-stop circuit can reset the sequence entirely. The SPDT output contact is rated for 16 A at 250 V, sufficient for direct switching of small motors, contactors, solenoid valves, and heating elements without an interposing relay.
