The HF Scientific MTOL+ Online Process Turbidimeter is a compact system engineered for precise, real-time turbidity measurement in drinking water, raw water, reuse water, and industrial applications. It utilizes a nephelometric measurement principle and offers user-selectable ranges of 0-10, 0-100, and 0-1000 NTU (default factory set at 0-10 NTU). Designed to meet USEPA Method 180.1 or ISO 7027 standards, the MTOL+ provides fast response times, and features an ultrasonic cleaning system to reduce maintenance. Built-in data logging, Modbus compatibility, and a 4-20mA output allow for seamless integration into monitoring systems.
The MTOL+ shares a unique optical design with the M100+ Laboratory Turbidimeter, allowing for consistent calibration and measurement between lab and process environments. Both instruments use ProCal EPA-approved NTU calibration standards, eliminating the need for separate standards. The MTOL+ features a flow through sensor with a bubble-rejection system, reducing the likelihood of false low readings caused by entrained air. The designed flow head bubble rejection system reduces the need for a bubble trap and provides a faster response time. The modular design also enables easy replacement of electronic components without interrupting flow.
