At the core of the enteliZONE platform is its native BACnet implementation, certified by the BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL). This ensures seamless integration with any BACnet-compliant building automation system, enabling centralized monitoring, scheduling, and optimization. The controllers are available in two primary programming models: configurable versions (eZV-440, eZFC-424R4, eZ-440R4) that use pre-built algorithms for quick deployment, and fully programmable versions (eZVP-440, eZFCP-424R4) that allow engineers to create completely custom control sequences or modify built-in algorithm behavior. This dual approach provides the flexibility to address both standard and highly specialized HVAC applications.

The hardware design emphasizes versatility and ease of installation. All enteliZONE controllers feature universal I/O points that can be configured for a wide range of sensors and actuators. Output options include on-board relays and TRIAC outputs, with select thermostat models also providing analog outputs. The built-in LINKnet expansion port enables connection to eZNS network sensors and BACstat devices, extending sensing capabilities without additional wiring complexity. For VAV applications, certain models include an integrated airflow sensor and damper actuator, streamlining installation and reducing component count. The controllers operate on 24V AC/DC power and are housed in compact enclosures suitable for mounting directly on HVAC equipment or within electrical panels.

The eZNT and eZNTW thermostat models incorporate Wi-Fi connectivity, EnOcean wireless communication, and NFC technology for rapid configuration via the Delta Stat Configurator mobile application. These wireless capabilities reduce installation time and enable flexible placement without the constraints of wired infrastructure. The thermostats also feature customizable RGB backlit displays and user-configurable button overlays, allowing building owners to tailor the occupant experience. All controllers support four occupancy modes with schedule-based inputs, as well as real-time clock synchronization over the BACnet network. Comprehensive control algorithms include multi-stage reheat (analog, binary, or floating), single or multi-speed fan control, 2-pipe or 4-pipe changeover systems, and heat pump logic with auxiliary heating stages.
