Product Description
The CKIC 5E-FICS is a comprehensive fuel management and intelligent control platform designed for coal-fired power plants that need to modernise their coal handling operations. Rather than treating sampling, preparation, testing, and yard management as separate silos, 5E-FICS integrates them into a single digital thread — from the moment a coal truck enters the plant gate to the point where blended fuel is fed into the boiler. The platform uses a PLC + FCS/DCS distributed control architecture coordinated over a local area network, with each subsystem operating autonomously so that a fault in one module does not halt the entire plant's fuel operations.
What does full-process coverage mean in practice?
The system begins with inbound vehicle management: licence plate recognition, automatic weighbridge control, and guided routing to the sampling station. At the sampling stage, the system automatically calculates the required number of sub-samples based on the delivered coal quantity per GB national standards and adjusts the splitting ratio and sampling grid accordingly — no operator override is possible. From there, the sample enters a sealed pneumatic transport line to the fully automatic sample preparation equipment, where it is crushed, divided, and dried without human contact. Prepared samples are delivered to the laboratory, where ISO/IEC 17025-compliant lab information management tracks personnel, equipment, methods, environment, and measurement traceability. In parallel, the coal yard module manages stacker-reclaimer positioning, pile inventory via laser scanning, safety monitoring, and optimised blending recommendations — all online and remotely supervised.
How does the triple-level coding system prevent fraud?
5E-FICS assigns three sequentially coded identifiers to each coal sample: a sampling code generated at the auto-sampler, a preparation code assigned after automated sample division, and a testing code issued to the laboratory analyst. No single operator sees more than one code, and the mapping between codes is encrypted and accessible only to the system. This design enforces two isolation principles simultaneously — personnel are isolated from samples (no one knows which truck a given sample belongs to) and personnel are isolated from data (no one can link a test result back to a specific supplier). The result is a tamper-proof chain of custody that makes supplier-side quality fraud and internal data manipulation structurally impossible, not just procedurally discouraged.
