The ifm efector LW Series Non-Contact Level Transmitter utilizes 80 GHz FMCW radar technology to measure liquid levels up to 10 meters with accuracy of ±2 mm. They operate on 18-30 VDC power and feature dual outputs including a configurable digital switching output and a scalable 4-20 mA analog output, along with IO-Link communication capability for integration into modern industrial control systems.

The LW2720 features a fixed 10-degree radiation angle, while the LW2120 offers greater flexibility with an adjustable beam width of either 8 degrees when using an antenna extension or 10 degrees without it. This adjustability allows the LW2120 to be optimized for different tank geometries and installation constraints. Additionally, the LW2120 provides expanded material compatibility for wetted parts, including FVMQ as an option when used without the Aseptoflex Vario adapter, while the LW2720 has standard PTFE and EPDM construction.
