The Rosemount 1208A Level and Flow Transmitter has been specifically designed for applications in water and wastewater, utilities and simple level applications. The radar uses continuous non-contacting technology and has a G 1½" or NPT 1½" threaded connection and IO-Link, 4-20 mA (3-wire), switch communication protocols. Bluetooth-enabled configuration available. Expansive process connections offer high adaptability for installation points, with optional cable assemblies up to 20m in length.

The Rosemount 1208A delivers accurate level measurement and open channel flow calculations in a compact and submersible PVDF housing with Drinking Water, FDA, EC 1935/2004 certifications. The 80GHz FMCW radar technology provides a focused beam angle for reliable measurement. The transmitter can also be connected to a controller, such as the Rosemount 3490 Series.

Specifications include 4-20mA and IO-Link outputs, 49ft maximum measuring range, 200mm/s maximum level rate, temperature range 59-77°F, and ambient pressure 14-15psi.
