Product Description

The A-811.CE is PI's single-axis controller for PIglide air-bearing stages, packing the controller and servo drive into one benchtop unit built on the ACS ECMsa motion engine.

Why pair a dedicated controller with an air-bearing stage?

An air-bearing stage rides on a film of air, so any cogging or ripple in the drive shows up directly as motion error. The A-811.CE drives voice-coil, brushless or DC motors with a quiet PWM output and reads high-resolution encoders, so the stage's own precision — not the drive — becomes the limit.
