The LA Series from Motion Control is a range of inline tubular electric linear actuators featuring a patented design where the DC motor and planetary gearbox are integrated in-line within the tube body. Available in five diameters (16 mm, 26 mm, 35 mm, 38 mm, and 52 mm) with aluminium, powder-coated steel, or stainless steel construction, they provide thrust from 100 N to 6,000 N with stroke lengths up to 400 mm.

How does the position feedback and synchronized control work?

Built-in Hall sensor feedback enables precise position tracking for individual actuators and supports both synchronous and asynchronous control of two actuators. This makes the LA Series suitable for applications requiring coordinated motion — such as dual-actuator lifting platforms, hatches, and adjustable furniture — where both actuators must move in unison or at defined offsets. Remote control capability is standard.

What environmental protection and durability does the LA Series offer?

Standard models are rated IP66 for protection against dust and powerful water jets, making them suitable for outdoor and washdown environments. Stainless steel variants achieve IP67M certification for temporary immersion. Over-current protection automatically stops the actuator at end-of-stroke or overload conditions. The brushed DC motors with planetary gearboxes provide high efficiency in a compact inline form factor, eliminating the need for external gearboxes or belt drives.
