The SPC5 family is STMicroelectronicsu2019 32-bit automotive MCU line built on the Power Architecture. Spanning the SPC56 and SPC58 sub-families, it covers body, chassis, safety, powertrain and gateway applications with up to three cores running at 200 MHz.

Safety and longevity by design

Devices are designed to AEC-Q100 and support up to ASIL-D functional safety, with a fault collection and control unit, memory error management and end-to-end ECC. Longevity is guaranteed for 15 years, extending to 20 years for the SPC56 and SPC58 families, which matters for automotive production programs.
