Product Description

The Renesas RX family is a 32-bit MCU line spanning three CPU core generations, from the value RXv1 to the RXv3 with single-precision FPU. The RX100 series is the low-power, low-cost entry point, offering the same architecture down to 350 nA of standby current.

  • Four power modes, with wake-up in under 4.8 us
  • True low power at about 100 uA/MHz with all peripherals off
  • Zero wait-state flash from 8 to 512 KB
  • Integrated USB 2.0 host, device and OTG

DSP instructions, a hardware divider and single-cycle multiply give the RX series enough headroom for sensor fusion and motor control, while capacitive touch and LCD controllers support HMI designs. Safety features include a clock accuracy circuit, data operation circuit and independent watchdog, making the series a common choice in meters, home appliances and industrial HMIs.
