Can I mount a 7-axis robot on a mobile cart?
Most collaborative robots weigh 18–25kg – too heavy for a push cart without a counterweight. At 7.8kg total (arm + controller), RM75-B mounts on a standard lab cart or mobile work table. The 24V DC power means it runs from a battery pack, not a fixed power drop. This replaces stationary SCARA arms that cannot move between production lines, reducing robot count from three to one per shift.
What tasks benefit from a 7th axis on a 5kg robot?
Dispensing glue along a curved path, screwing into a 360° thread, or picking parts from a deep bin – these tasks require wrist rotation beyond the reach of a 6-axis arm.
