How does the SXC-6 monitor dust collector filter condition?

The SXC-6 uses an integrated differential pressure transmitter to measure the pressure drop between the inlet and outlet of a dust collector or baghouse filter. As filter bags accumulate dust cake, the differential pressure rises — the SXC-6 displays this value in real time on its digital LED screen and compares it against user-configurable alarm thresholds. When the setpoint is reached, the corresponding alarm relay triggers a filter cleaning cycle (pulse-jet backflush or mechanical shaking) to restore airflow.

What alarm configurations are available?

Three independent alarm setpoints are provided: high alarm (default 1.40 KPa), low alarm (default 1.00 KPa), and low-low alarm (default 1.00 KPa). Each threshold is adjustable via the SET key interface on the front panel. By default, only the high alarm terminal is wired out — low and low-low alarm output terminals must be requested at time of ordering. The multi-level alarm structure supports both filter-overload warning (high differential) and filter-breakthrough detection (low differential).
