Product Description

The GO series from ConiuGo Gesellschaft für Telekommunikation mbH is a modular GSM/LTE telecontrol system for remote monitoring, alarm forwarding, and data logging in industrial and building automation applications. A single central module manages up to 15 I/O expansion modules over an internal bus, creating a customizable remote terminal unit (RTU) that fits on a DIN rail.

How does the GO modular architecture work?

The system consists of a central module — the brain with LTE/GSM connectivity, SIM card slot, and configuration interface — and snap-on I/O expansion modules that connect via an internal bus. The central module detects all connected expansions automatically. Three central module variants are available: the SMS model for standalone SMS-based alarm signalling and remote switching via text commands, the SCADA LTE model for scheduled server/database connectivity with web-browser configuration, and the Datalogger model which writes measurement data to a memory card and emails it as CSV attachments on a configurable schedule. All variants detect power failure and can operate from a 6V/12Ah backup battery with integrated charging regulator.

What I/O expansion modules are available?

The GO system supports analog input modules for 0–1 V voltage signals, 0–20 mA current loop transmitters, and PT1000 temperature sensors — four channels per module. Digital input modules handle potential-free dry contacts (8 channels) or optically isolated signals (4 channels). Digital output modules provide either four channels at 24V/1A AC/DC or two channels at 230V/6A AC for mains-rated switching. This mix-and-match approach means a single GO system can monitor tank levels (4–20 mA), count pump starts (digital in), measure temperatures (PT1000), and switch pumps or valves (relay outputs) — all from one DIN-rail assembly.

How is the GO system configured and deployed?

Configuration is via RS232 or USB connection to a PC. The SCADA LTE variant additionally supports remote configuration through its built-in web interface. Once deployed, the system operates autonomously — polling inputs, evaluating alarm thresholds, sending SMS notifications to registered mobile numbers, and pushing data to a central SCADA database at configured intervals. Typical applications include remote monitoring of water and wastewater pumping stations, silo fill-level telemetry, building services alarm management, and low-voltage switchgear condition monitoring.
