The E+E EE046 Condensation Monitor is designed to monitor condensation formation on chilled ceilings or prevent condensation at critical points in HVAC systems. It also serves as a dew point monitor for systems operating near the dew point.

The EE046 measures relative humidity near the dew point using a high-quality capacitive sensor. When the switching point of 90% RH is reached, the output provides an early warning signal to initiate control steps (e.g., increasing water temperature, reducing cooling capacity, activating heating). An additional status light indicates condensation danger. Key features: 10–100% RH range, 90±3% RH switching point, 24 VAC/DC power supply, 1 A max switching load, compact design, fast response time, IP40 protection.
