The Rotronic HygroFlex5-EX Series humidity and temperature transmitter is designed for exact measurement in explosive atmospheres. It conforms to international standards and consists of a robust aluminum transmitter with or without display. Attached probes are cast into a stainless steel tube, certified for Zone 0/20, while the transmitter is certified for Zone 1/21.

HC2-EX probe options include wall mount (104mm), cable probe (125mm or 285mm), screw-in probe (1/2in G or NPT), and LDP-screw-in probe. Cable lengths of 2m, 5m, or 10m are available. Key features: two 2-wire 4–20 mA analog outputs, ±0.8%rh / 0.1K accuracy, application temperature -40 to 60°C (without display) or -10 to 60°C (with display), optional display, aluminum housing, IP66 protection.
