The E+H Indumax CLS54 is an analog inductive conductivity sensor specifically designed for hygienic applications in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries. Its virgin PEEK body is jointless and crevice-free, with surface roughness Ra < 0.9 µm, ensuring no risk of recontamination. The sensor is certified by EHEDG, 3-A, and complies with USP Class VI and FDA requirements.

The inductive measuring principle makes the sensor unaffected by electrode contamination or polarization. Measurement range is 100 µS/cm to 2000 mS/cm with cell constant k = 6.3 cm⁻¹. Integrated Pt1000 Class A temperature sensor provides fast response (t90 < 27 s) enabling efficient phase separation. Process temperature range -10 to 125°C continuous, with sterilization capability up to 150°C for 60 minutes. Pressure rating 12 bar at 20°C, derating to 8 bar at 125°C.

A wide selection of process connections includes dairy pipe, aseptic fittings, Clamp ISO 2852, SMS-2", Varivent N, and Neumo Biocontrol D50. The sensor is IP68/NEMA 6P rated and suitable for CIP and SIP. ATEX and FM/CSA hazardous area approvals available. Applications include phase separation, CIP process control, concentration control of cleaning agents, product monitoring, and leakage detection.
