The QUADRIOS 22C462 is a solder connector with heat shrink insulation designed for wire sizes 0.5-1.0 mm² (AWG 22-18). The connector features a transparent outer tubing with a built-in solder ring and hot-melt adhesive. When heated with a hot air gun, the tubing shrinks, the solder melts and flows into the wire strands, and the adhesive creates a watertight seal.

The hot-melting inner adhesive seals watertight when overlapped correctly – the solder ring connects the two conductors during the shrinking and melting process. The transparent design allows visual inspection of the completed connection.

Application: Strip the cable and insert it on both sides into the connector until the stripped cable ends overlap under the solder ring, or twist. Apply even heating until the solder melts – optimally with a hot air gun or a hot air blower. Suitable for automotive wiring, marine applications, appliance repair, and industrial control panels where reliable, waterproof splices are required.
