The VEGA VEGAPOINT 24 Compact Capacitive Limit Switch is designed for point level detection in industrial applications, including when front-flush installation is required. Typical applications include overfill and dry run protection. The small sensor can also be used in thin pipelines.

The sensor simultaneously detects the capacitive and resistive part of the measuring signal. If the measuring tip is covered by medium, the sensor can distinguish between adherence and actual coverage. The type of change is recognized by the intelligent measured value acquisition and transformed into a switching command.

Buildup is ignored to a certain degree and therefore has no influence on the measurement.

The wetted parts of the instrument are made of PEEK and stainless steel 316L. The process seal is made of FKM or EPDM. The housing is made of stainless steel 316L or Valox and is available in protection classes IP66/IP67 and up to IP69.
