Product Description
The Time Electronics 1070 capacitance decade box offers high accuracy across several ranges: from 100pF to 10µF. Each of these ranges are measured within a 1% basic accuracy. The 5-digit thumbwheel switch enables simple and precise setting of the capacitance value. The 1070 is suitable for applications in industry and education.
Features include an in-line read-out and color-coded digits: µF = Red, nF = White, pF = Yellow. The 1070 has three 4mm binding posts and a third terminal to enable the case to be connected to either output or earth. The case itself is constructed of metal to provide complete screening and has a residual capacitance of approximately 40pF. Bi-polar working is supported.
The 1070 is compatible with 4mm shrouded plugs, as well as standard plugs, bare wires, and spade terminals.
