The Time Electronics 5025C Series 2 is a multifunction calibrator that provides a wide range of precision outputs for the calibration of electrical test tools, meters, and various measuring devices. It combines performance and functionality with simple operation, making it suitable for calibration laboratories, workshops, and on-site test facilities .

With 15 ppm precision, the 5025C sources AC and DC voltage from 0 to 1050V and AC and DC current from 0 to 22A (up to 1100A with the optional 9780 clamp meter adaptor). It features variable resistance from 1Ω to 1.1GΩ, thermocouple simulation (types J, K, R, T, S, B, E, N, C, L, U) with ±0.05°C accuracy, and Pt100 RTD simulation from -180°C to 850°C with ±0.03°C accuracy .

Additional capabilities include capacitance (1nF to 100μF), inductance (1mH to 10H), and power calibration with simultaneous voltage and current output, adjustable phase, and frequency to 500 Hz. An oscilloscope calibration option is available, enabling generation of levelled sine-waves up to 2.2 GHz with <400ps fast rise time for bandwidth testing up to 400 MHz .

The 5025C features a deviation control function allowing fine adjustment of output as a percentage (±9.999%). It includes RS-232, USB, and GPIB interfaces, and is supplied with Windows-based Virtual Control Software. The instrument is compatible with EasyCal calibration software for automated testing and calibration management, enabling production of traceable calibration certificates for ISO 17025 conformance .
