The Fluke 710 mA Loop Valve Tester provides Good, Marginal, or Bad assessment of HART smart control valves. With built-in test procedures and an intuitive user interface including a Quick-Set knob, the 710 allows users to quickly and easily perform comprehensive valve tests .

Key valve testing functions include valve signature test, speed test, step test, manual test, and bump/partial stroke test. The signature test captures the valve's dynamic response, while speed test measures stroking time. Step test evaluates the valve's response to step changes, and bump/partial stroke test enables partial movement verification without full shutdown .

The 710 features mA source, mA simulate, mA read, mA read/loop power, and volts read functionality with 0.01% accuracy. Milliamp measurement ranges from 0 to 24 mA with 1μA resolution, and voltage measurement from 0 to 30 VDC with 1mV resolution. A built-in selectable 250Ω resistor provides access to HART commands including auto-trim for valve controllers .

The unit includes datalogging capability for 9800 records or 99 individual sessions. Free ValveTrack software allows users to upload HART configuration of up to 20 HART devices and output data in .csv or .txt format.
