The Ametek Jofra RTC Series Reference Temperature Calibrator provides precision temperature calibration of sensors, whatever the type or format. The innovative active dual-zone heating technology independently controls each heating zone, producing two homogeneous zones that increase the chances that the sensing element of the sensor-under-test will reach one of these calibration zones.

The lower zone ensures optimum heat dissipation throughout the entire calibration zone, while the upper zone compensates for heat loss from the sensor-under-test and the open top. This design eliminates the need for extra insulation of sensors-under-test and makes it possible to calibrate liquid-filled and other mechanical sensors.

The RTC series includes models 156, 157, and 168. Wi-Fi connectivity enables remote control from anywhere, and the auto-adjusting graph mode simplifies operation. The calibrator provides a 24VDC transmitter supply (28 mA max) and can measure voltage up to 12 VDC. Power consumption is 350 VA for the 156/157 models and 400 VA for the 168 model. The unit operates on 115V or 230V mains power and in ambient temperatures from 32 to 104°F.
