The Ametek Jofra RTC-159 Reference Temperature Calibrator offers a very wide temperature range from -100°C to 155°C, making it especially suitable for applications in the healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food industries. Its patented technology enables calibration of sensors in applications ranging from ultra-coolers to autoclaves.

The RTC-series features active dual-zone heating technology, with each heating zone independently controlled for precision temperature calibration. The homogeneity in the lower part is close to that of a laboratory liquid bath. The lower zone ensures optimum heat dissipation throughout the calibration zone, while the upper zone compensates for heat loss from the sensor-under-test and from the open top. This design eliminates the need for extra insulation of sensors-under-test and makes it possible to calibrate any type of mechanical sensor.

The RTC-159 is equipped with a large informative, easy-to-read color display. It supports 10 different thermocouple types: E, J, L, K, N, R, S, T, U, and B. With its lightweight and durable design, it ensures both portability and longevity for demanding field and laboratory use.
