Product Description
The EGE SC 440 series is a thermodynamic (calorimetric) flow switch designed for reliable flow monitoring of liquid media. Operating on the thermal principle, the sensor is heated internally a few degrees above the medium temperature. As the medium flows, heat is conducted away, cooling the sensor. The measured temperature difference is directly proportional to the flow velocity, enabling precise flow/no-flow detection without any moving parts. This eliminates failure due to corroded bearings, torn impellers, or deflector deformation, ensuring long-term reliability even in harsh industrial environments.
