The KEP KEPtrol R/T is a high-performance ratemeter and totalizer featuring a bright 0.55-inch, 8-digit alphanumeric display. It is available in both pulse input and analog input versions. The pulse input version can accept up to 20,000 pulses per second, making it suitable for high-speed flow meter applications.

Standard features include two separate, 8-digit, floating decimal "K" factors to convert the inputs to meaningful total and rate data in engineering units. For applications requiring enhanced accuracy, an optional 16-point K-factor linearization table is available to compensate for non-linear flow meter outputs. The user can easily toggle the display to view total, rate, and grand total with the push of a button.

The KEPtrol R/T provides two control outputs that can be independently assigned by the user to activate at a preset limit of total, rate, or grand total. The output duration is adjustable from 0.1 to 9.9 seconds, or it can be set to latch until reset. A scaled pulse output, driven by an open collector driver, is standard for transmitting total data to remote totalizers, computers, or PLCs. The output frequency is user-selectable at 10, 200, 2k, or 20k Hz. An optional analog output is available for driving chart recorders. The front panel is rated NEMA 4X / IP65, and up to 15 units can be networked via optional RS-232 or RS-422 communication ports.
