The SKF 171 Series is a piston-type flow switch (flow monitor) designed for monitoring pump flow or piston distributor elements in oil and grease lubrication systems. It is used to detect continuous flow in oil circulation systems (e.g., SKF CircOil) and to monitor piston movement in progressive feeders. For the SKF Safegrease 2 system, the doser monitor senses the doser piston's movement, providing reliable feedback for system control.
